Netlog vehicles on Turkish roads for Darüşşafaka

Netlog araçları Darüşşafaka için Türkiye yollarında

On Sunday, May 30, 2021, Netlog took action to announce the Darüşşafaka Entrance Examination to a wider audience. Netlog is supporting equal opportunity in education this year by dressing its vehicles on the roads across Turkey with exam posters.

Netlog, Turkey's leading logistics company, mobilized its vehicles this year for the Darüşşafaka Association, which has been operating with the mission of equal opportunity in education for 158 years. On Sunday, May 30, 2021, Netlog carries the announcement of the Darüşşafaka Entrance Exam on its vehicles and invites thousands of students in Turkey to take the exam by creating awareness on this issue. The exam, which will be held in 28 provincial centers in Turkey, will be open to all students in the 4th grade who have experienced the loss of a mother and/or father, without paying any fee. The 120 students who succeed in the exam will be entitled to receive 8 years of full scholarship college education at Darüşşafaka after the necessary evaluations.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY STARTS WITH THE EXAM

Commenting on the issue, M. Tayfun Öktem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Darüşşafaka Association, underlined the importance of valuable companies such as Netlog contributing to the mission of equal opportunity in education: "As Darüşşafaka Association, we have been working with all our strength to ensure equal opportunity in education since 1863. When we say equal opportunity in education, this whole process actually starts with equal participation in the exam. In other words, we first give our children this equal opportunity through the exam. Teachers, mukhtars, families, anyone who hears our voices and conveys the information to others is very valuable to us. As the Darüşşafaka family, we offer students one of the most important opportunities that will change their lives. We would like to thank all the organizations that support us on this path, especially Netlog."

Şahap Çak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Netlog, stated that it is a source of great happiness for them to support the Darüşşafaka Association, Turkey's oldest non-governmental organization in the field of education, and said, "This time we are partnering in a very important awareness project with our vehicles that respond to the basic needs of our people by reaching even the remotest corners of Turkey. We strongly believe that modern and rational education is one of the most important elements of our country's social development. We are very happy to contribute to the equal opportunity in education mission of Darüşşafaka, one of our country's favorite institutions in this field. We hope that this cooperation will enable many more children to participate in this exam."
